explain后接什么样的宾语
1. 表示“解释”，通常不接双宾语；若语义上需要这类结构，可以改用 explain sth to ***结构。如：
请把这条规则给我们解释一下。
误：Please explain us this rule.
正：Please explain this rule to us.
若其中的 sth 较长或较复杂（比如是不定式或从句），也可以用explain to *** sth。如：
He explained to us why he was late. 他给我们解释了他迟到的原因。
2. 有时后接反身代词作宾语，有两个意思。如：
(1) 表示把自己的意思表达清楚。如：
Could you explain yourself a bit more? 你能把意思说得更清楚点吗?
(2) 表示对自己的行为进行解释。如；
Late again, Smith? I hope you can explain yourself! 又迟到了，***?我希望你能说明一下原因。
