英语中有许多不定代词，它们在句子中可以代替一个或多个名词，不定代词分为以下几类：
1、物主代词(Personal Pronouns):表示所有关系的代词，如my、your、his、her、its、our、their等，This is my book.(这是我的书。);Their car is parked outside.(他们的车停在外面。)
2、人称代词(Personal Pronouns):表示单数和复数形式的靠前人称(I, we)、第二人称(you)、第三人称(he, she, it)的代词，如I、you、he、she、it、we、they等，He is playing basketball.(他正在打篮球。);They are watching a movie.(他们正在看电影。)
3、疑问代词(Interrogative Pronouns):用于提问的代词，如who、what、which、when、where、why、how等，Who is coming to the party?(谁来参加聚会？);What did you eat for breakfast?(你早餐吃了什么？)
4、连接代词(Conjunction Pronouns):用于连接两个句子或短语的代词，如either.or、neither.nor、both.and等，Either you come with me, or I'll go alone.(你要么跟我来，要么我一个人去。);Neither of them likes coffee.(他们两个人都不喜欢咖啡。)
5、关系代词(Relative Pronouns):用于引导定语从句的关系代词，如who、whom、whose、that、which等，The person who is standing there is my brother.(站在那里的人是我哥哥。);This is the book that I bought yesterday.(这是我昨天买的那本书。)
6、不定代词(Indefinite Pronouns):没有特定数量或身份的所有格形式，如somebody、anybody、everybody、nobody、something、anything、everything、nothing等，Somebody left their umbrella here.(有人把雨伞忘在这里了。);Is there anybody who can help me?(有谁能帮帮我吗？)
