holdoff与putoff的区别

意思有所不同。

hold off：

暂缓：推迟或延迟采取行动或做决定。

例句：

Could you hold off making your decision for a few days?

你能推迟几天再作决定吗？

put off：

1、推迟：将某事物的时间或日期向后延迟；

2、使反感：使某人对某事物产生反感或不喜欢的情感。

例句：

We've had to put off our wedding until September.

我们只得把婚期推迟到九月。
