【next to 和 near 的区别】
这两个短语在英语中都表示“靠近”的意思，但在使用时还是有一些区别的。
1、next to:通常用于描述物体或地点之间的相对位置，表示某物紧挨着另一物，或者在空间上非常接近，The cat is next to the mouse.(猫在老鼠旁边。)This restaurant is right next to the cinema.(这家餐馆就在电影院旁边。)
2、near:这个词可以用来描述物体、地点或时间上的接近，表示距离较近或者时间相隔不远，I live near the park.(我住在公园附近。)We will meet near the entrance of the building.(我们会在大楼入口处见面。)The deadline for the project is nearly here.(项目的截止日期快到了。)
next to 更强调空间上的紧密相邻，而 near 则更泛指时间、距离等方面的接近。
